06/22/2022 12:00 AMEast Shore District Health Department (ESDHD) has announced the newly-released Covid vaccine for children ages 6 months to 11 years old is now available through free local clinics in North Branford, Branford and East Haven run by Griffin Hospital, including 10 clinics set to be held at Zion Episcopal Church in North Branford every Tuesday, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., June 28 through August. 30. The Zion clinics also offer pediatric vaccinations for ages 12 and up. No appointment is necessary.
The clinics at Zion Church will be held 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. on Tuesday June 28 and all Tuesday in July including July 5, 12, 19 and 26; as well as all Tuesdays in August including August 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. Zion Episcopal Church is located at 326 Notch Hill Rd, North Branford.
In Branford clinics are set for Saturday, June 25 and Saturday July 16, 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. at Walsh Intermediate School, 185 Damascus Road for ages 6 months – 11 years; and Saturday, July 9, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Soundview Family YMCA, 628 East Main St., for ages 6 months – 11 years and ages 12 and up.
In East Haven, Sunday clinics will be held on the East Haven Town Green, where vaccines will be available for ages 6 months – 11 years and ages 12 and up from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on the following Sundays: Sunday, June 26 and all Sundays in July including July 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31.
