Parmelee Farm Happenings

The Killingworth Historical Society will welcome visitors to the Parmelee Farmhouse this summer to view the display of tools used in 18th- and 19th century Killingworth homesteads. The farmhouse is located at 465 Route 81 and will be open 3 to 5 p.m. on Sundays, June 12, July 10, Aug. 14, and Sept. 11 and by appointment.

The society will also have a small tag sale in the garage behind the farmhouse on June 12 from 3 to 5 p.m.

On the same days as the society’s open house dates, the Parmelee Farm will feature a car cruise from 3 to 5 p.m., followed by a free concert from 5 to 7 p.m.

The public is welcome to visit the farm for fun days of viewing the vintage vehicles, browse the farmhouse historical displays, and stay for the concert. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and snacks/picnic and make it a fun family time.
