Affordable Housing Plan Draft Presented May 10

There will be an important public meeting o the town’s affordable housing plan on Tuesday, May 10 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The meeting will be conducted via virtual forum and the link is available via the town website www.ci.guilford.ct.us.

The town’s Affordable Housing Plan will be presented and town officials are reminding residents that their input and feedback is essential in developing a coherent and workable plan moving forward.

The draft includes explanations of what affordable housing actually means, what current legislation does and doesn’t allow, and a detailed overview of how the town is hoping to proceed to integrate the plan into Guilford.
