04/07/2022 12:00 AMOn Arbor Day, Friday, April 29, join us at 10:30 a.m. at Branford Point's Parker Memorial Park for a special celebration of Arbor Day. The Branford Garden Club will be planting a tree in the park to replace the "Peace Tree " that came down during a storm.
We will be celebrating Mary Hahn, who for many years has enjoyed the peace, serenity and shade the peace tree provided in this beautiful park. She has loved sharing it with her friends and anyone who wished to join her making new acquaintances over the years. Many of these people will be joining us to celebrate with her.
As the new peace tree grows, may it provide many more years of peace and serenity to future generations in our community.
