02/22/2022 03:45 PMWe at the Madison Chamber of Commerce are thrilled to announce the return of our Souper Bowl Event. After a two-year hiatus due to COVID, we are returning to the sidewalks of downtown Madison on Saturday, March 5 from noon to 2:30 p.m. with an inclement weather date of Sunday, March 6.
This outdoor winter event will feature the shoreline’s most delicious soups, chowders, and chili from local restaurants, businesses, and (of course!) firehouses, so we encourage your readers to show up with a big appetite! All attendees will be given a ballot so that they can cast their vote for their favorite in each category.
This event is being made possible by the generosity of our sponsors: “Bowl” Sponsor Gaylord Specialty Healthcare and Physical Therapy and “Cup” Sponsors Essex Financial, Hammonasset Dental Care, Madison Beach Hotel, Madison Financial Planning, Sher Walton and Peter Scranton, and William Pitt-Sotheby’s Real Estate. In addition, School of Rock will be providing musical entertainment and Limelite Dance Studio will have a halftime dance performance.
