Candidates who were endorsed by the parties and listed on the ballot were contacted and invited to a Nov. 7 group swearing in with Chester Town Clerk Debra Germini Calamari. This was organized as it would be Germini Calamari’s last election swearing in after more than 30 years of service as town clerk as she is retiring.

The group swearing in was held on the steps of Miller & Shah’s law firm building as it is the former Chester Town Hall where the swearing in all began for Germini Calamari as town clerk many years ago. The town thanks Jim Miller for allowing the use his property in honor of Germini Calamari’s long-standing service.
