Ballot Info for the Nov. 2 Essex Elections

Essex voters will select town leaders for the boards of Selectmen, Finance, and Education among other offices in the Tuesday, Nov. 2 municipal elections. Polls will open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Essex Town Hall, 29 West Avenue, Essex.

In addition to electing town officials, voters will be asked to approve or deny the following question:

“Shall Regional School District No. 4, comprised of the Towns of Chester, Deep River and Essex, appropriate $952,053 for the cost of the John Winthrop Middle School Security Project and authorize the issuance of bonds, notes or temporary notes in an amount not to exceed $952,053 to finance the appropriation?”

The Registrars of Voters for the Town of Essex will hold a limited voter registration session on Monday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Essex Town Hall. For more information, contact the registrars at 860-767-4340 ext 142.
