Blackstone Library Hosts Shred-a-Thon Fundraiser Sept. 18

The James Blackstone Memorial Library will host a drive-up shredding event on Saturday, September 18 from 9 a.m. – noon (12 p.m.). Clean out your old papers, protect your privacy and confidentiality — and support the library!

Buy a prepaid card at the library from now until September 17; $10 for 2 copy-paper sized boxes.

On the day of the event, the first box will be $7, each additional box $5.

Prepaid cards are available for purchase from the Blackstone Library at the Circulation or Reference desks. Cash, check, and credit cards accepted.

Shredding will be done on a first come, first served basis, onsite by ProShred Security in the front parking lot of Blackstone Library. All proceeds support the programs and services offered by the Blackstone Library.

Visit the Blackstone at 758 Main Street, Branford, CT 06405. The library is open Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.–8 p.m.; Friday-Saturday, 9 a.m. –5 p.m.; Sunday 1–4 p.m. (beginning September 12).
