In an unprecedented event, ESDHD is teaming up with Stony Creek Brewery; vaccinations will be provided at the brewery from 1 - 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 31 and Sunday August 1; with a free pint of beer to new vaccine recipients who are 21 and older.

The East Shore District Health Department (ESDHD) and Griffin Health are providing Covid-19 vaccinations at the Stony Creek Brewery in Branford on Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1. In an unprecedented event, ESDHD is teaming up with Stony Creek Brewery; vaccinations will be provided at the brewery from 1 - 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 31 and Sunday August 1; with a free pint of beer to new vaccine recipients who are 21 and older. The brewery is located at 5 Indian Neck Avenue.

Stony Creek Brewery is offering a point on the house for all first and second doses received at the event; any Johnson & Johnson vaccine recipients will receive two vouchers for a free pint. Recipients must show vaccine card for proof of vaccination date and must be 21 and over to receive a free pint.

Those who are 12 -17 years old are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine that is being provided at our clinics by Griffin Health. The Pfizer vaccine requires 2 vaccinations 3 weeks apart. The Moderna and Johnson and Johnson vaccines will also be available. Please note Moderna vaccine requires 2 vaccinations given 4 weeks apart. The Johnson and Johnson vaccine only requires one vaccination. Both the Moderna and Johnson and Johnson vaccine are only authorized by the FDA for persons 18 years and older.

ESDHD and Griffin Health also continue to offer free vaccination pop-up clinic options in the towns of Branford, North Branford, East Haven, Guilford and Madison, including the following locations and dates:

East Haven Town Green, 100 River Street East Haven; Daily from August 2 - August 21, 1 - 7 p.m.

Branford on the Green, 1011 Main Street, Branford; Thursday, August 5, 5:30-8 p.m. (Rain Location: Branford Community House, 46 Church Street).

North Branford Parks & Recreation Center, 1332 Middletown Ave. Northford; Saturday Aug. 14, 9 -11:30 a.m.

Branford Fire House, 45 North Main St., Wednesdays Aug. 14, Aug. 18, Aug. 25, 10 a.m. - 12 noon (Moderna and Johnson and Johnson only)

Guilford Parks and Recreation Center, 32 Church Street, Guilford; Tuesday, August 17, 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.
