06/25/2021 12:00 AMThe Department of Public Works is pleased to announce its road improvement and resurfacing project for 2021. The following road(s) are scheduled to be resurfaced: section of Griffing Pond Road to Sunset Hill Drive intersections; Meadow Wood Road; Sunset Hill Drive; Alps Road from Wendy's [restaurant] to Spice Bush Lane; Marion Road; Ballou Road; Eli Yale Terrace.
Preparation and milling has been scheduled to begin the week of June 28, 2021, weather permitting; paving is to follow. Motorists and residents are cautioned that traffic may experience minor delays and detours during this construction period.
If you are on one of the listed roads please do not park on the street during daylight hours (sun up to sunset).
