Branford Fireworks June 26: Viewing, Parking, Shuttle and Road Closing Info

June 23, 2021: The 2021 Fireworks display will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 9:30 p.m. The show will be delivered from Foote Memorial Park. The main viewing area will be Sliney Fields off South Montowese Street.

The viewing area within Foote Park will be limited due safety restrictions. Foote Park will be closed from Friday evening until Sunday morning. The secondary viewing site will be Hammer Field off Church Street. Parker Memorial Park/Branford Point is not a recommended viewing area.

There will be limited parking at Foote Park and Sliney Fields. When the lots are full Melrose Avenue and the access road to Sliney Fields will be closed. Do not park in any areas marked as No Parking or Parkside Village resident parking or your vehicle will be subject to tow at the vehicles owner's expense.

Offsite parking and shuttle buses will be provided from Branford High School and at the Cherry Hill commuter parking lot at exit 53 to Indian Neck School beginning at 5:30 p.m. and returning following the end of the show. Viewers will walk to and from Sliney Fields from the bus drop off /pick up location at Indian Neck School. Handicapped accessible parking spots will be available at the Foote Park and Indian Neck School parking lots.

Due to required emergency fire lanes and emergency access, streets off Indian Neck Avenue and South Montowese Street will be posted no parking. There will also be marked emergency corridors within Sliney Field, where seating will not be allowed. Please respect these areas so our first responders can access as needed.

Food trucks will be located along the outfield fence of the Sampson little league field beginning at noon.
