May 5, 2021: The Friends of the Blackstone Library were able to present the library with a special gift of $30,000. This contribution is being made in honor of the Blackstone librarians and the wonderful work they did through the pandemic. This gift is in addition to the funds the Friends donate each year that support the library and its various programs and services. The additional funds were raised through the mini- sales of donated books held in the Friend's River Run (School Ground Road) storage warehouse, and also through very successful online book sales which exceeded expectations this year. Thank you to all the hard-working volunteers who made this possible.

The Friends are again holding spring book sales at River Run Business Park, 59 School Ground Road. All are encouraged to attend. COVID precautions will prevail. Books are gently used are priced reasonably. Children's Books will be on sale Friday May 14 —Sunday May 16. Adult Fiction will be offered Friday May 21 and Saturday May 22, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. and Sunday May 23 11 a.m. — 3.p.m.
