Celebrating Miner Vincent in Clinton

Founder and President of Families Helping Families Miner Vincent was surprised as he arrived at the Clinton Food Pantry on April 28 by members of the community who came to watch as he was presented with a state citation, introduced by State Representative Christine Goupil and State Senator Norm Needleman, in recognition of Vincent’s “remarkable spirit of community service.”

The citation states, “Through your work donating time and resources to the Clinton Food Pantry you helped hundreds of families make ends meet. You have protected the most vulnerable in our community. In a time of great challenged difficulty, those who are compelled to act make the greatest difference. Today, not only do we celebrate your selflessness and leadership, but more importantly, the hope you gave to those who needed it most.” Here, Goupil hands the citation to Vincent after reading it to him and the audience.
