On Your Mark (and Mel)...Adopt

These two very shy brothers need an extra-special home where they will be loved unconditionally, patiently, and gently! Handsome Mark is a long-haired orange boy, and Mel is a gorgeous long-haired black fellow.

They are gentle and can be petted, but need to learn to trust and build a bond with their humans. They must be adopted together. To adopt Mark and Mel or any other cat or kitten, please call the Forgotten Felines adoption line at 860-669-1347 or apply online at www.forgottenfelinesct.org.

Find Your Match at Forgotten Felines: Forgotten Felines holds open adoption events every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 153 Horse Hill Road, Westbrook. Visitors should be prepared to wear a mask and follow guidelines for social distancing when inside the shelter. Adoption applications are accepted at that time. For more information, call the adoption line at 860-669-1347.

Forgotten Felines, which is run entirely by dedicated volunteers with no paid staff, is seeking volunteers who can spare two hours a week to help clean and care for the cats. To join the Forgotten Felines team, call the volunteer line at the number shown above.
