Branford Police: Body Found in Stony Creek Marsh

A body located in a marsh in the Stony Creek section of Branford is the cause of increased police presence in the area this afternoon, Thursday, March 4.

At approximately 4 p.m. Branford Police Department reported investigating the discovery of "a deceased person in a marsh area in Stony Creek," in a notice posted at the Branford Police Facebook page, which also stated," We are in the early stages of this investigation. Updates will be given as information becomes available."
