On Oct. 24, eight members of the North Haven Garden Club gathered under the direction of Civic Co-Chair Cindy Golia to clean out the barrels on Maple Avenue and Todds Pond, pots on Shawmut Avenue, and the cement planter at Parks and Recreation. The cana lillies that were in the middle barrels and at Parks and Rec were saved, cleaned off, and are ready to dry out over the winter. The yellow cana lillies tubars will be reused next year and some will be for sale at the club’s May Market, if it is able to have a May Market.

Members who helped clean out the barrels and pots were Golia, Camille Bracale, Sue Dannenhoffer, Lee Fermo, Jim Grillo, Lynda O’Donnell, Marge Quinn, and Carmen Sealy.

Next, the barrels and pots will be filled with seasonal decorations. For more information, visit the North Haven Garden Club on Facebook. Lynda O’Donnell and Sue Dannenhoffera
