Some Branford Election Sites Changed Due to COVID-19 Guidelines

Branford's Registrars of Voters office has announced that, due to Covid-19 guidelines, some voting locations have been changed for the Tues. Nov. 3, 2020 presidential/state election. All polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

The most notable changes, which have been made to comply with safe social distancing and other virus protocols, are to polling sites for districts 3 and 5.  On Nov. 3, voters from the Third District will vote at Branford High School instead of the regular polling site at Orchard House; and voters from the Fifth District will vote at Branford Yacht Club instead of regular polling site at the Indian Neck School.

In summary, on Nov. 3, Branford's seven districts will vote at the following locations: First District - Community House, 46 Church St.; Second District - St. Therese Church, 105 Leetes Island Rd.; Third District - Branford High School, 185 East Main St.; Fourth District - Fire Department Headquarters, 45 North Main St.; Fifth District - Branford Yacht Club, 39 Goodsell Point Rd., Sixth District - Mary Murphy Elementary School, 14 Brushy Plain Rd.; Seventh District - Mary Tisko Elementary School, 118 Damascus Rd.
