09/17/2020 12:00 AMSept. 16, 2020: The Town of Branford is announcing free Wifi Access availability on the Branford Town Green. As WiFi access is becoming increasingly important for homeschooling, healthcare, remote working and entertainment this access point will provide an additional resource for residents to stay connected. The outdoor WiFi access on the Town Green allows residents and visitors to surf the web, check email, connect with friends and family or check out social media while enjoying the outdoors.
First Selectman James B. Cosgrove stated, "This is an opportunity to provide additional access to technology and create a new way for residents and families to visit and enjoy our beautiful town center".
To connect, turn on WiFi under settings on your device and it should automatically connect to the wireless network named Bfdpublic.
