08/03/2020 12:00 AMOn July 24 Branford Town Clerk Lisa E. Arpin was arrested at 10:44 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive upon the right. The arresting officer was Branford Police Officer Bret C. Johnson.
Arpin, a certified municipal clerk, did not return calls for comment about the incident. Branford Public Information Officer Lt. Corrianne Dionne offered no further comment on the incident.
