Did Tucker Tuck and Roll?

If cats could talk, Tucker might tell us how he ended up on the fast lane median of I-95 on a hot June afternoon. It must have been fate that one of our volunteers was brave enough to stop for the poor cat who was lying on a storm drain, allowing his abraded paws to droop into nothingness and completely in shock.

Tucker allowed himself to be picked up and brought to the animal hospital and then to Forgotten Felines where he received much-needed medical attention and love. He is very lucky that he had only abrasions, no broken bones or internal injuries, and now he is ready for a new home of his very own. Tucker is sleek, mostly black with a few white wisps on his bib and has gorgeous green eyes. He would like to tell a happy tale about the rest of his life with a forever home! To adopt Tucker or any other cat or kitten, call the Forgotten Felines adoption line at 860-669-1347 or apply online at www.forgottenfelinesct.org.

Find Your Match at Forgotten Felines: Forgotten Felines holds open adoption events every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 153 Horse Hill Road, Westbrook. Strictly enforced safety procedures will be in place. All visitors and volunteers must wear masks and use hand sanitizer, and the number of visitors in the shelter at any given time will be monitored to maintain social distancing. As always, adoption applications can be submitted on-line at the above email address.

Forgotten Felines is seeking volunteers who can spare two hours a week to help clean and care for the cats. Those aged 18 and older can call the volunteer line at the number shown above.
