07/02/2020 12:01 AMThis year has implemented many changes due to COVID 19. Currently, Mayor Joseph Carfora’s emergency ordinance is in place restricting our Town Beach to East Haven residents only. This emergency ordinance took place on May 22 and can be found on the town website.
At this time, residents must show proof of residence to enter designated parking lots and our town beach. No beach pass stickers are required for our parking lots. Residents should continue to bring a valid proof of residence. This may include identification, photo ID, registration, or a tax bill.
The Mayor’s Office appreciates residents’ continued support through this pandemic and the changes that have been made for the safety of our residents.
No longer having beach stickers is also a cost savings to the taxpayers of East Haven.
