05/27/2020 12:00 AMLitigation continues in an early 2019 lawsuit which was brought by Metro Star Capital LLC (Milford) against property owner 1 Church St. LLC (Branford) disputing remediation work at the site of the former Atlantic Wire property on Meadow Street.
Metro Star Properties LLC (Milford) received Town of Branford approval in 2015 (updated 2017), to develop the former Atlantic Wire property into Atlantic Wharf, a ten-building residential and commercial/office complex.
Most recently, in May 2020, 1 Church St. submitted updated counterclaims in the case. The case currently has a New Haven Superior Court trial date set for February 2021.
Metro Star's zoning approval granted by the Town for the Atlantic Wharf development remains valid into 2022.
