As Jesus entered Jerusalem on what was to become "Palm Sunday," the crowds shouted, "Hosanna," which is translated as "Save Us" (see Psalm 118: 26).This year, then, "Hosanna" has greater meaning than any of us could have possibly imagined. As a reminder of how Jesus has saved us, and continues to save us, North Branford Congregational Church invites you to receive a palm frond this Saturday, April 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., by driving up to the rear entrance to the North Branford Congregational Church building.

Enter on Chapel Street, and drive around to Church Street, where either Donna Cropley or Rev. Vance Taylor will be gloved and passing a palm into open car windows; please do not get out of your car. Exit by the traffic light at the corner of Church Street and Route 80.

In a new tradition this year, consider placing the palm outside your house – on your front door, mailbox, or other visible location, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, Our Savior!

North Branford Congregational Church will distribute a palm frond into vehicle windows driving past the rear of the church Saturday, April 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.NBCC Photo
