Madison Restaurants Respond to Closure

As Connecticut’s Governor Ned Lamont ordered the closure of restaurants and bars on March 16 in response to the expanding coronavirus crisis, many residents are wondering what individual food establishments in town are doing, and whether their favorite pizza or coffee will be available while the town attempts to maintain good health practices.

Statewide, food establishments are allowed to transition to delivery or takeout, if they so choose, and many have begun offering curbside pickup services to help maintain healthy practices and avoid the spread of germs.
