Wine, Chocolate, and Paint Night Benefits Preservation Campaign for Killingworth’s Congregational Church

The Congregational Church in Killingworth held a Wine, Chocolate, and Paint Night on Feb. 15 to benefit the Preservation 2020 fundraising campaign, which is raising money to restore the 200-year-old church. The interior dome, exterior, bell, clock, carillon, and much else are in need of repairs. The church has raised $190,000 so far with a goal of $404,000 by the church’s 200th anniversary on May 31. For the Feb. 15 event, Country Package and Votto Vines brought wine samples to the event, and Cindy Stevens of Cindy Stevens Fine Art helped guests paint on wine glasses and vases.
