Lecture Series Features Clean Energy Committee Update Feb. 19 at Trinity Church

The question of whether Branford can be a "renewable energy community" by 2050 will be the topic of the latest "Living Wisely and Well on Planet Earth" lecture series at Trinity Church on the Branford Green, 1109 Main Street.

The free admission event, set for Wed. Feb. 19, 7 – 8:30 p.m. at Trinity Church, will discuss the "why, what and how" of converting to renewable energy and bring in members of Branford's Clean Energy Committee to present an update on planning for consideration of this possibility. The lecture is hosted by the Branford chapter of Living Wisely and Well on Planet Earth; for more information visit www.livingwiselyandwell.org

The Clean Energy Ad Hoc Committee was formed in 2019 to advise the Town of Branford on matters related to clean energy and ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, as well as to work on ways to implement other clean energy initiatives.
