Old Saybrook PD Announces Sobriety Checkpoints

In conjunction with the Connecticut DOT Highway Safety Office & National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration, the Old Saybrook Department of Police Services will be conducting DUI sobriety and safety checkpoints as part of the Winter Holiday Traffic Safety Initiative.

The checkpoints will begin on Friday, Dec. 27. Checkpoint locations will be Boston Post Road, Elm Street, Middlesex Turnpike, and Spencer Plains Road. The department wishes everyone a safe, happy New Year!
