North Branford Police Seek Bank Robbery Suspect

North Branford Police are seeking assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an afternoon bank robbery at Key Bank, 1715 Foxon Road on Friday Dec. 13.

A $500 reward is being offered by the Connecticut Bankers Reward Association for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

Police report that officers were dispatched at 4:03 p.m. to the bank, where it was determined a white middle-aged male reportedly entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money and indicating he had a weapon. Police said no weapon was displayed at any point during the incident. Cash was provided to the suspect, who fled the bank on foot and headed east on Foxon Road, according to police.

Police are sharing images of the suspect from surveillance video. He was wearing a light colored hooded Columbia jacket, baseball cap, jeans and light colored sneakers at the time of the robbery, according to information shared by police.

The robbery is currently under investigation by the North Branford Detective Bureau.
