Branford Police Seeks Help in Identifying Suspected Car Thief


Branford police are sharing images of a male suspect who's being sought following a car theft from In Shape Fitness. The public is being asked to help identify this individual.Branford Police Photo

On Friday, December 13, Branford Police Department shared photos of a person being sought following the theft of a car from In Shape Fitness, located at 89 North Main St.

The department, which is sharing two surveillance camera photo images of the suspect, is requesting the public's assistance in identifying the man. 

On the department's Facebook page, BPD also provided a description of the suspect as, "... a white male in his 20's, with a thin build and a tattoo on the interior portion of his left forearm."

Members of the public with information on the identity of the suspect are asked to contact Officer Joe Herten at (203) 481-4241 ext. 261.
