Fall Prevention Talk Rescheduled to Jan. 21

A fall prevention program originally scheduled for Dec. 3 at the Deep River Public Library, 150 Main Street, Deep River, will now take place on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

One in four Americans aged 65 and older falls every year. Attendees can learn how to prevent this from happening to them or their loved ones when Care One Security visits the Deep River Library on Jan. 21 at 11 a.m. to discuss home safety and fall prevention in and around the house. This will be an informative presentation, and will include some fun raffle prizes and useful item giveaways.

Registration is required, to sign up, call the library at 860-526-6039 or visit deepriverlibrary.accountsupport.com or the library’s Facebook Events page.
