11/21/2019 11:00 PMBranford police reported today that a deceased male, approximately 50 years old, was struck and killed by a train in the area of Tabor Lutheran Cemetery on Thursday, Nov. 21. The man's identification has not yet been released.
The deceased male was located after Branford Police and Fire Departments responded to a Nov. 21 report of a person struck by a train in the vincinity of the cemetery. The report was made at approximately 10 p.m., according to police.
According to a post shared on Branford Police Facebook page, "Officers located a deceased male, approximately 50 yrs old. Amtrak Police will be leading the investigation and will be able to release further details as their investigation progresses."
