Connecticut Orthopaedic Specialists Receives Branford Economic Development Business Recognition Award

At its September meeting, the Branford Economic Development Commission (EDC) presented Connecticut Orthopaedic Specialists with its Business Recognition Award. The EDC periodically presents the award to a Branford company that is a leader in its field and that contributes to making Branford a better place to live and work.

Connecticut Orthopaedic Specialists’s mission is to provide care for children and adults with musculoskeletal injuries and disorders. The practice is also the team physicians for the Quinnipiac University Bobcats as well as offering voluntary service at 16 high schools, including Branford High School and Branford Little League.

Connecticut Orthopaedic Specialists started in 1963 with two physicians; today it encompasses more than 50 orthopaedic specialists providing medical care at 21 locations across the state, as well as at four urgent care walk-in centers and at its state-of-the-art surgical center located at Branford’s North Main Street facility.
