North Branford HS Musicians Perform at Shoreline Music Festival

On October 2 and October 10, 17 students from NBHS participated in the 2019 Shoreline Music Festival at Coginchaug High School in Durham.

Festival students rehearsed on Tuesday Oct. 2 and Tuesday Oct. 10 followed by a concert. NBHS musicians joined students gathered to rehearse music in the Shoreline Festival Band and Choir, comprised of students from all 12 school districts in the Shoreline Conference.

The festival ended with a fantastic public performance Thursday evening, Oct. 10 at Coginchaug High School. The NBHS Band Director is Katie Trainer

The 17 NBHS musicians participating in the Shoreline Music Festival were Nina Annunziato, Jennifer Cirivello, Marisa Helff, Marlena Karsmarski, Katherine Klemme, Emily McCormack, Gabriella Pinto, Benjamin Reynolds, Christina Riggione, Ethan Sabetta, Kara Schimelfanick, Emma Schreiber, Alexander Shadman, Caroline Shadman, Alexis Sorrell, Christian Tomaso and Allison Wang.

The NBHS grade 9-12 Band Director is Katie Trainer. Trainer is also K-12 Music Department Leader for North Branford Public Schools.
