Two Branford Grand Marshals Lead Columbus Day Parade

Branford First Selectman Jamie Cosgrove and the Greater New Haven Columbus Day Parade Committee welcome the parade back to Branford on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 1:30 p.m. Sharing the role of Parade Grand Marshal will be Branford residents Vincent Giordano Jr. and Betty Ann Cacace Donegan.

Donegan, a Branford Education Hall of Fame inductee, is renowned for her cooking school and is an active organizer and volunteer for many charitable causes.  Giordano is vice-president/secretary of the Giordano construction companies and former U.S. Army Captain who served in Vietnam, earning the Bronze Star. He has been inducted into the Branford Sports Hall of Fame and is very active in veteran activities.
