Republicans Primary for Mayor, Council, on Sept. 10


Registered Republicans voting at Overbrook School will see this ballot with mayoral and District 4 Town Council candidates; all other voters will select only mayoral candidates in the Tuesday, Sept. 10 Republican primary.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10 for the Republican primary. All registered Republicans will choose between candidates for mayor, and voters in District 4 will also be asked to select candidates for Town Council.

The mayoral race is between Republican Town Committee (RTC)-endorsed candidate Steven “Big Steve” Tracey and Sal Maltese. The winner will face Democrat Joseph Carfora and petitioning candidate Oni Sioson in the November elections.

The District 4 primary will select the three Republican candidates who will appear on the November ballot. The candidates are Bob Cubellotti, incumbent Linda Hennessey, and Robert Ranfone, who were endorsed by the RTC, and Samantha Parlato.

The locations of polling places for the town’s seven voting districts are:

• District 1: Tuttle School (108 Prospect Road)

• District 1S: East Farm Village (55-65 Messina Drive)

• District 2: Momauguin School (93 Cosey Beach Road)

• District 3/3s: Deer Run School (311 Foxon Road)

• District 4: Overbrook School (54 Gerrish Avenue)

• District 5: Hays School (1 Maple Street)

• District 5S: Woodview (1270 North High Street)
