08/05/2019 12:00 AMEast Haven Police and the South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit are investigating a serious motorcycle accident that sent one to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police were called to the intersection of Foxon Hill Road and Zolan Drive on Friday, Aug. 2 at 9:52 p.m. Upon arrival, it was determined that a vehicle was traveling westbound on Foxon Hill Road and attempting to make a left turn into East Ridge Estates. At the same time, a motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Foxon Hill Road. The driver of the motorcyle took evasive action to avoid an acident and was ejected from the motorcycle. The driver was not wearing a helmet and taken to Yale New Haven Hospital with serious injuries.
The identities of both drivers are currently being withheld.
