07/24/2019 12:00 AMThe East Haven Democratic party has unanimously endorsed Joseph Carfora as its mayoral candidate.
“I am proud of my brother Joe’s commitment to the Town of East Haven by stepping up to the plate and running for the mayor’s seat. As a life time East Havener, college graduate, former basketball stand out, and local businessman, he possesses the skills and qualities to succeed in this endeavour,” said Carfora for Mayor 2019 campaign manager Al Carfora.
“Unlike our Republican counterparts, there will be no challengers to incite a primary in our party, which in turn will save the taxpayers money,” he said. “Our vision for East Haven is one of balance by not raising taxes and fixing our grossly neglected infrastructure and town facilities and initiating a town beautification program making it more attractive for businesses to stay and relocate here.”
Carfora concluded, “We plan on giving the town a new car smell not the same old, same old, these Joe Maturo candidates our opponents continue to offer. I am looking forward to working with my brother and the entire Democratic team to restore the luster to my old home town that it so desperately needs.”
