07/19/2019 12:00 AMThe Green Party of Clinton is asking for people to identify themselves if they are interested in running as candidates on the Green Party line in the 2019 local election. Open positions in this 2019 election include the new seven-person Town Council, the Board of Education, the Planning & Zoning Commission, the Board of Assessment Appeals, the Zoning Board of Appeals, and the Police Commission.
Persons who have an interest in running for local office on the Green Party line should contact Clinton Green Party co-chairs Eric Bergman or Jim Connolly. The party is seeking candidates within the next week to provide adequate consideration from its selection committee.
