Tracey Tops Slate for East Haven GOP

The East Haven Republican Party has endorsed Steven “Big Steve” Tracey for mayor. The vote was unanimous.

“The East Haven Republicans proudly endorsed Big Steve to be our next mayor,” said Republican Town Committee Vice Chairman Chris Farrell. “Big Steve has a big heart with many new and exciting ideas for the future of East Haven. He will be an outstanding mayor.

“Steve will be a champion and a cheerleader for our town,” he continued. “His community service and his experience on our town council will serve him well in his role as mayor.”

The town committee also endorsed a full slate of candidates to run for Town Council, Board of Education, and Board of Finance.

“We are also thrilled with our slate of qualified candidates for all council seats and town wide boards and commissions,” Farrell continued. “At Tuesday night’s convention, we spoke as a unified party ready for the challenges ahead in the November election. We are the party of fiscal responsibility and dedicated to bringing economic development and jobs to our great town. We are the party ready to improve the education of our children. We are the party of positive change. We are the party that believes in East Haven and its future.

“The Democrat Party is running a campaign rooted in the past and built on a foundation of taxing more and spending more of our residents hard earned money,” Farrell concluded. “We look forward to bringing our message of opportunity and success to every corner of East Haven.”
