The Madison Exchange Club’s 40th annual Independence Day Parade took place on July 4. The parade began downtown at 11 a.m. and made its way down Boston Post Road to the Surf Club. The theme of the parade this year commemorated the 100th anniversary of the American Legion and residents and visitors alike came out in droves—despite hot temperatures—to watch the parade.
