WCNX Radio and the ‘Pete Mezzetti Show’ Live Broadcasting from Luigi’s-Ronald McDonald House Fundraiser

On Sunday, Oct. 13, Luigi’s Restaurant, 1295 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook, will host a fundraiser to support the Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut (RMHCT). WCNX Radio will be broadcasting live from Luigi’s Restaurant from 3 to 6:30 p.m., included a live, on-location edition of the Clinton-based Pete Mezzetti Show from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The events cap a day in which 20 percent of each lunch or dinner check will be donated to RMHCT.

For more than 32 years, RMHCT has opened its doors as a home away from home for families and their critically ill children who are receiving life-saving medical care in Greater New Haven.

The cost for RMHCT to provide accommodations and accompanying services to a family is $120 per night. While families are asked to contribute $15 per night, more than 70 percent of families served in 2018 were unable to afford the fee.
