Support Branford Food Pantry

Do you have a couple of hours a week to volunteer? That's all it takes to help the Branford Food Pantry provide groceries to neighbors in need. We're looking for volunteers to help unload and store food. We especially need individuals who can lift up to 50 pounds to help sort and stock heavier items.

Every Bag Feeds a Family Promotion During June

The Branford Food Pantry has been selected as a beneficiary of the Stop & Shop Community Bag Program for the month of June. The Stop & Shop Community Bag Program, which launched in May 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work. The Branford Food Pantry was selected as the June beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Stop & Shop located in Branford on Leetes Island Road.

The Branford Food Pantry will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at this location during June, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.

The Branford Food Pantry serves the Town of Branford by providing weekly groceries to families in need, and full turkey dinners for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
