05/23/2019 12:01 AMThe Essex Garden Club recently planted the Essex Veterans Memorial Hall parking median area with more than 100 shrubs and perennial plants. The area was designed by Essex Garden Club member MyLan Sarner with focus on low maintenance and peak bloom in time for this year’s Memorial Day Parade conclusion events, which take place at this location.
The Essex Veterans Memorial Hall represents a total commitment to all military personnel, both past and present and the town should be proud of its creation and ongoing commitment to our military veterans.
The Essex Garden Club’s primary mission is education and beautification for the Town of Essex. This project aligns perfectly with our beautification commitment.
All design and installation time was donated by the Essex Garden Club, with help from Essex Veterans Memorial Hall members.
