04/18/2019 12:01 AMThe Town of Westbrook will begin the season-long replacement of the Lynn Road Bridge over Falls River on or before May 1. The bridge is located at the intersection of Lynn Road and East Pond Meadow Road. The construction will last from May to December with a detour in place for the duration.
In addition, daytime work will periodically reduce East Pond Meadow Road to one lane. The detour will re-route Lynn Road traffic into Essex via East Pond Meadow Road to Pond Meadow Road to Bushy Hill Road and total approximately three miles. The project is expected to take six to eight months to complete but will be reopened as soon as possible.
