With construction underway outside the Blackstone Library in Branford, the Friends of the Blackstone Library have a new book drop location to assist the community when donating gently used books for furture Friends of the Library book sale events.

The multi-bin, easy-access book drop is located outside Cosgrove Construction, 164 North Main St. (next door to La Luna Ristorante and across the street from the Premiere Subaru facility, under construction). The book drop was built by Paul Paquin, master carpenter and owner of Paquin Construction, with assistance from Mark Hally of Boy Scout Troop 604, according to information shared by the Friends.

"With the construction at the library and limited parking, this drop offers easy access; and with the larger capacity, can hold more books," the Friends noted.
