Video Auditions Sought for Shoreline Theatre Company's 'The Producers' in Branford

Do you have Broadway potential? Branford-based Shoreline Theatre Company (STC) is looking for audition submissions from talented shoreline residents, sent as audition video or links, in its casting call for the only 2019 Connecticut production of The Producers, a Mel Brooks Musical.

Submitted videos/links must show auditionees, ages 13 to 70, singing 32 bars of a musical theatre song. Submission deadline is Sunday, April 21.  Submissions should be sent by email to ShorelineTheatreCompany@gmail.com  In-person call backs will follow, if needed.

Selected performers will rehearse Monday – Friday evenings (and some Saturdays) throughout May and June. Performances will take place June 27 through June 29, 2019, in Branford.

STC offers the program in partnership with Branford Parks and Recreation Department. This is the second year for the program's shoreline adult musical theatre production, a full-scale musical performed for live audiences. Last year, STC drew over 100 adult auditionees from 10 shoreline towns and cast 60 shoreline players in its musical production of the Broadway show Hairspray.
