Branford, North Branford, Guilford, Madison Business Owners Invited to Free SBA Breakfast April 16

On April 16, two leading officials from the Small Business Administration (SBA), together with several local successful entrepreneurs, will share news of SBA programs that bring results with businesses owners/representatives from Branford, North Branford, Guilford and Madison, during a free breakfast meeting in Guilford. The meeting is being co-sponsored by Economic Development Commissions of each of the four towns. 

According to a press release from the event organizers, the morning's featured speaker will be SBA New England Regional Administrator Wendell Davis, who will discuss how the SBA provides access to working capital, entrepreneur development programs and available government contracts. Anne Hunt, SBA District Director, will also participate, with a question and answer session to follow. Participants will also have the opportunity to hear firsthand from local entrepreneurs who have participated in SBA programs. Economic Development Representatives from the four towns will also be present to encourage community-wide development and discussion.

The breakfast meeting will take place Tues. April 16, 7:30 - 9 a.m. at the Nathanael Greene Community Center in Guilford, 32 Church St. Early advance registration is encouraged to help the combined shoreline commissions plan this free event.
