ELT Hosts Amphibian Talk on Jan. 24

The Essex Land Trust hosts Dr. Tracy Rittenhouse for a presentation on Amphibian Habitat in CT: Is There Enough for Populations to Persist? on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. in Essex Town Hall, 29 West Avenue.

Rittenhouse, an associate professor in the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment at UConn, will define amphibian habitat and discuss whether or not there is enough habitat in Connecticut to maintain amphibian population for future generations. Attendees will learn about amphibian habitat and improve their understanding of habitat in general. Rittenhouse has a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and M.S. and PhD from the University of Missouri-Columbia. The talk’s snow date is Tuesday, Jan. 29.
