01/10/2019 11:00 PMA petition for an amendment concerning the zoning of the property located at 30 Old Post Road is scheduled to be received at the Planning & Zoning Commission (PZC) meeting scheduled for Monday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. in Town Hall.
The commission is expected to receive the petition, then schedule a public hearing for a future date. In 2018 an application by Old Post Realty, LLC to build a recycling facility on the property drew intense public opposition. In December, representatives from Old Post Realty came before the PZC to announce their intention to possibly pursue an indoor recreation facility on the property instead of the recycling facility.
