12/16/2018 11:00 PMAt approximately 1 p.m. today, the Guilford Police and Fire departments were dispatched to a residence in the Lovers Lane area of town for the reported fall victim. A 70 year-old male who was working on a ladder completing home repairs had fallen and sustained injuries to his head and back. Emergency treatment was provided by Guilford fire personnel and the male was transported to the hospital for further care. A short time later, the Guilford Police Department was notified that the male had succumbed to his injuries.
Identification of the involved male is being withheld until such time family can be notified.
